Tigerwood End Grain Cutting Board

$100.00

Tigerwood is a Central and South American hardwood that earns its name the moment you lay eyes on it. Deep reddish-browns, burnt oranges, and dramatic dark striping come together in a pattern that's bold, warm, and completely natural. On an end grain board, the cross-section of all those vivid stripes creates a stunning mosaic effect — like a piece of art that also happens to be the hardest-working thing in your kitchen.

  • Unlike flat or edge grain boards, end grain exposes the cross-section of the wood fibers, allowing knife blades to slip between the grain rather than cut across it. The result is a board that's dramatically gentler on your knives, self-healing over time, and extraordinarily durable under daily use.
