The glass insert handles all water contact — remove it for cleaning. Wipe the wood exterior with a dry or barely damp cloth only. Re-oil occasionally with mineral oil to keep your vase looking its best.

Wenge is a dense, coarse-grained tropical hardwood sourced from Central Africa, with a natural color ranging from medium to very dark brown, often featuring distinct black streaking throughout the grain. It ranks high on the Janka hardness scale, making it more cumbersome to work with.

All vases are fitted around standard glass vases. Amazon, and other stores you can find online sell 2” x 2” x 8” glass vases. Make sure that the outside dimensions aren’t larger, as can happen sometimes.
